One of my favorite pin up artists these days is Dean Yeagle, and he has been for a couple years now. I did an illustration a last year that was very much influenced by him.

But I thought it'd be fun to make one of his trademark character: Mandy. I found an existing pinup of his that I really liked , and just redrew it in my own style.

When you look at the two, you can definitely spot some differences in body proportions. Like a lot of western artists, he does sort of that Jessica Rabbit build: really long legs, super skinny waist, top-heavy. I take liberties to emphasize those body features, too, I just have different ways of doing it. I also had to angle her a bit differently to fit her into my preferred 16:9 aspect ratio.

Not a lot to say, just thought I'd do a quick, fun, breather pin up after all the time I put into my last one .
