I just barely got this up before midnight on Christmas Eve.

Either way it'll be on time for Christmas, I just wanted it up BEFORE Christmas, not ON Christmas. It didn't help that I had all this finished and written up, then hit the wrong "submit" button and it created a blank submission screen and cleared everything I typed. FUCK!!! But I still managed it.

But, okay, I based on a couple classic pinups. The idea of holding the mistletoe and wearing a half-removed one-piece romper like this came from a Playboy centerfold from December 1966. The pose and the framing came from a calendar pinup made by artist Bill Randall in December of 57. I tried to find links to these, but no luck. And I don't have time to dig too deep right this second.

But I gave it my own personal style, and made the fireplace marble instead of brick, because I've done drawn brick fireplaces and it's a pain in the ass. That's why I recycled that fireplace backdrop. Twice.

I also made her pajamas cuter and more form-fitting. In the original, they're kinda loose and frumpy, so the sex appeal comes from her stripping it off. But I changed it to a more tight-fitting romper? Onesie? Whatever these kind are called. I don't like the name onesie, though, that's too associated with baby clothes and... yeah... let's not go into that disturbing area...

Something that showed off her form and made her curves pop, that's the point. ^_^
