So, one last little unexpected Christmas bonus here before the holiday season comes to a close for another year ;_; .

Why after Christmas? Because I always watch A Christmas Story on Christmas, and that's when I had the idea. So it was a little late to get it finished before the 25th.

But since my upcoming New Year's pinup is a holdover from one I couldn't get done in time last year, and is itself almost finished, I thought I could use this in-between week to quick whip this one up. It's always a strange week in between Christmas and New Year's, so this gave me a good project.

If you've seen the movie, and what red-blooded American hasn't? Then you'll know what I'm going for here.

I just saw the Old Man's leg lamp and thought "What if I added the rest of the girl, too?"

It's a pretty simple sideways pinup pose, I've done it loads of times, so I knew getting her figure right would be easy. And it had me working in mostly black and gold for my colors, because those are the colors of the lamp, and is it happened, Ralphie's house had a lot of warm, yellowish colors inside as well. So I was able to stick to that one color palette pretty much the whole way through.

I fired up my copy of the movie again to take a few screen captures so I could see what the window looked like in their house, and I think I have a pretty good recreation of it here. And I gradually darkened the frame as it got closer to the ceiling so as to illuminate her legs more, to really depict that soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window ^_^.
