Description I was SO DAMN CLOSE! It's just after 1 AM on March 18. Ooo, hey, it's still St. Patrick's Day in Denver! That counts for something, right?

But St. Patrick's Day is a cool holiday. I can support any holiday that's centered around drinking. Although, that's only how it's celebrated in America. But, hey, Americans are a repressed lot, so what the hell. Cut loose and drink yourselves stupid, my friend.

I'll admit the holiday has lost SOME oomph because I don't really drink these days. It's been over a year since I've gotten wasted. Not for any kind of moral or health reasons; I just switched to weed, which now that I think of it, IS also green ^_^.

But normally I don't like the idea that people have to just set aside a day out of the year to drink. Such organized, scheduled partying just seems so counter to the spirit of partying. Back when I DID drink, know what my justification was? I was with my friends and we had booze money!

Did I already make that joke on a different deviation? I forget all the times I've used this to soapbox.

I think the picture pretty much speaks for itself. I'm very happy with how the swimsuit looks. It's always a gamble when I start to do the colors for that, because I never really know if it'll look good until I've actually done it. But it fits really well, the orange side goes great with her hair, and the green side goes well with the scenery. And white is a neutral, so it just plain works. ^_^

I just finished my Photoshop class on Tuesday night, which I loved taking. I learned a lot of new tricks in there, and I used a couple to pretty up the background image. That was originally a golf course, but I used the patch tool to get rid of the sand trap. I love that tool! I can't believe I've gone seven years without it! And I screwed with the levels and color balance, which I've done before, but now I have a better idea of how it works, and I can use those tools to their full potential.

I also cut out the original, overcast sky and replaced with a more picturesque one, but I already knew how to do stuff like that, that's not a new trick.

being Irish myself (or at least partly) all I can say is, "would ya like to try my Irish weiner, lass? It's magically delicious!" (yeah, ok, so I took most of that from Jeff Dunham the ventriloquist comedian, but it still works!)

btw, SEXY! I love me an Irish girl, no matter her coloring! well done!

P.S. what's this nonsense about us Americans drinking ourselves stupid? don't you know anything? we're doing damned well on the being stupid, without the aid of alcohol of course, drinking just makes things worse.

Nice, but most of Irish girls have blue eyes (and I love them for that)
