Description
One of 4 wands that I carved recently ... this one is carved from river wood and I believe it is Maple ...it was stained with iron oxide ... after carving the wand is polished with 600 grade sand paper ...other than the stain, there is no varathane or other applied finish... this one is about 14" long.
. Sorry the photo isn't better ... need a day with some sun

Interesting if I see you at VCON this year I may ask you to carve a wand for the lady that dresses up as characters I write about.

I am going to try and be there but I may be in the in New Brunswick ... if there is any way I can get back here for it I will. This year it is combined with CanCon (www.can-con.org/) but you probably knew that
