After their hunting lesson, Kovu and Jabari went to meet up with Kiara and Zahira, who were having their own lessons.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Zahira exclaimed, running towards the lion.
"Well hello my little princess," smiled Kovu.
"Guess what! Mom taught me some hunting I caught a small mouse!" The young cub said excitedly.
"Great job sweetheart, I'm very proud of you. Considering I taught your mother everything she knows," Kovu said with a smirked as he nuzzled his daughter.
"Excuse me, I've developed my own style after all this time, you know." Laughed the Queen.
"Yes, yes, Your Majesty." Kovu agreed.
"You're not the only one who learned to hunt!" Retorted young Jabari, feeling a little left out of the conversation.
"Yeah well did you catch anything?" Asked Zahira.
"...no...not yet..." Said Jabari in a dejected tone.
"Oh, don't worry son, we'll get there." Reassured Kovu.
"That's right, honey, everyone learns things a little differently." Said Kiara.
"Okay..." said Jabari.
