It's silly, but this really resonates with me, kinda punches me in the gut with an ice cold fist.

Waiting is lonely, painstakingly lonely. It's soul-crushing, because it could all be for nothing. But at the same time, you know you can't let go of the hope that it will all be okay. What will happen if you let go, and the thing you were waiting for returns? We all know how that feels, I think. Fear is such a human thing, but sometimes being human means suffering. I really wish I could stop waiting, but I'm not willing to take that risk with something so massive at stake.

There`s something about this that`s enchanting for some reason. I can`t really put my mind to what it is, but perhaps it`s the picture as a whole. I`ve been standing like that quite a few times myself so..
