While Jed was on the Boiler Tour he took two weeks off and went to Hollywood to guest star in three episodes of a popular TV show.

He played a Finnish exchange student named Jani Nikula who joins a *ahem* high school show choir and teaches them some important lessons in dancing, friendship, harmonizing even if one has an incredible accent and not forgetting where we come from. He got to do all the choreography himself (which pissed off the people who normally do it, but it's what was in his contract).

He was initially worried about his age, he is 32, and how he could possibly play someone in his teens ... then he found out that the cast is all his age ... so it he didn't feel so bad. Makeup is such a wonder.

Another concern was his accent. Jed is from Tennessee. He lived a a few years in Russia as well, so his accent, unique pretty much to him, was difficult to not only shake, but to adapt to Finnish. It took a voice coach (who was ever so patient), and a lot of practice, but he managed to get something passable. People reviewing it online razzed him terribly, but he's pretty zen about that kind of thing.

It was a good time and the show got great ratings for those episodes ... and he got paid a lot, which made it even better.

So it's not the most amazing thing ever ... it was a lot of fun ... with or without all the flaws. This pose was hard (for me)

This is dedicated to and who wanted to see him in more normal attire. Even though this is a costume for a show it is, more or less, what he would wear on a normal basis. Thanks guys!
