An early birthday present for my husband . This is his character Nic.

With my slight inability to art at the moment I started this one *really* early, so it's been around for a while. And, in a move that is typically me, I told him about it already (I had questions). So it's not much of a surprise, but here it is anyway.

When it comes to powerful and mysterious creatures in the universe, Nic is pretty much the pinnacle of both. The most extensive body of research on him, his origins, and his abilities is kept by the ASS Empire's Librarian/Server Warren, who had compiled it all into one massive book called: "For Reasons Known Only To Nic". It's a collection of observations, and stories of the people who have known him or attempted to study him ... how many of these were actually donated by him disguised as other people/creatures is unknown ... so it's probably not a good idea to read it as though it's scientific truth. It is a good read, though.

Nic exists out of time, space, and known form. What we get to see is what he decided to show us. He can be anywhere, anytime, and anything he wishes. He's a weapon, a cure, a scientist, and a subject. He has several "siblings" but they are all outside of this universe doing ... whatever it is they do.

As a person, he's never what you'd expect unless you meet him without prior expectations. He's known for his creativity, sense of humor, and vast wisdom.

Among his known achievements are the creation of the sentient ship Kin, the raising and training of the Deathsmiths, teaching someone to contain the growing energy of a universe within his person, and discovering the penultimate aggravation field.

To answer some inevitable questions:
1. Where is his nose?
Well, he didn't feel like having one today. He's experimenting with smelling through different parts.
2. What are all the things he's holding/near his hands?
Clockwise from top:
A schematic meets a double helix: To someone of his abilities, technology and biology are one. He has the ability to see through most (if not all) mundane distinctions.
Five points of light: One for each of his children.
The Ouroboros: An appropriate symbol for him. He's arranged his own timeline so that he inspires and ensures his own creation. I'm sure he'd say it's not that difficult.
Foam Finger: Why not?
Fertility Figure: An actual effigy made of his wife thousands of years ago. She's a fertility goddess. And not one of the frou-frou ones you get these days. She's much older than that.
