Description
I tried to make friends,
to be nice to all,
I tried to fit in,
so others will accept me.

I was silent,
never voiced my opinion.
So it won't hurt anyone,
my silence was my shield.

Never did I told,
my passions to the world.
All those fake friends,
pretend farewells.

I never connected with them at all,
trying to fit in, become something that I am not,
left me empty, forgotten and sad.
Until the day I stopped.

Moved away, found true love.
Having a family, they accept me as I am.
All those fake friends are left behind,
I don't even answer their calls.

So we have our little world now,
some say I am coward, runaway,
they all don't understand,
that I finally found myself.

There is still work to be done,
to pull myself up,
but finally I can see,
my life starts to fell complete.
