Sorry, I’m a little bit bummed out by today’s news.
I can’t quantify how big of a mark Miura left on the realm of fantasy and on the arts in general. I know my comic would have never existed in the first place.
He wasn’t only one of the finest artists of the century, but an excellent writer, able to drag us through unspeakable horrors to find hope and love. The Golden Age arc of Berserk is the best piece of literature ever put on page.
I’ll never know how the story ends.

She’s not a very smart girl, not stupid, but below average, but she’s not a fool, for her age, just desperate and ignorant, and shows great potential for growth in wisdom, if she should survive this. I’ve a hunch that at the top of her list, after completing her quest, will be rooting out creeps like this from her government.
