Shadowrun is an urban fantasy+cyberpunk RPG whose premise is generally The Magic Comes Back . Basically, starting around 2012, babies, at random, start being born as "elves", "dwarves", "orcs", and other species of fantasy, and many elements of fantasy once again becomes evident in the world, such as magic and dragons. Now, in the mid-to-late 21st century, the world has radically changed, but even the return of magic could not stop corporations from gaining power over the governments of old.
