*******DISCLAIMER (JUST IN CASE)********I always draw naked people first, and only afterwards I add the clothes. It's a matter of not putting limbs on the wrong place.
I always draw butts and boobs, even if they get covered. No perversion intended with this deviation, it just makes part of every drawing of mine, and should make part of yours too
Though I do not deny I'm a perv in general xD

thank you for the tutorial :> i hate when people bitch about "oh your character is naked!, you must be into hentai!" etc... and I'm responding with Heck yeah can't resist the urge for tentacle galore you know, which always catches them offgaurd. but still... people should grow up, you're born without clothes, you shower/take baths without clothes on a daily base. To hell, people even watch porn on a daily base and they still bitch about drawing the anatomy correctly.

I always draw naked people first before I add the clothes to make sure i keep the proportions, anatomy, and pose correct. It gets awkward when I draw at school and I'm at that stage of the drawing and people come up to me and ask "Hey, what you drawing?!!" It gets especially awkward when im drawing both a male and female together... XD

believe it or not this actually helps me a lot! I tend to mess up the butts and they always look disproportioned but this helps!

What do you reference for anatomy? I feel like whenever I try to draw something I can't find a reference of the specific pose I'm thinking of. And it never comes out right when I try to reference my own body OTL Thanks!

Well, its not a very linear thing... The easiest place for free reference is [link] where you can get every angle you like from their positions. Its a nice thing if you like realistic drawing, but if you dont, you'll have to mind some limb sizes and adapt them to your style.
But its not my main place of referencing... I like collecting anime art on a special folder i have just for reference. Its easier to see how other artists do if you're very into cartoonish art rather than reality reference (tough realism works very good with hands and feet).
I try to understand how redjuice, nil, el-zhen, etc, draw everything from all angles, so I can do it on my own too. They all have a similar style, so I know that one's rules also apply to the others. But if diversity works better than restriction to one style on you, go for it

ur girls have such wonderful hips and buttocks! i always start my characters out that way as well. really awkward when someone from my family walks in during that stage and asks why im drawing a bunch of nakid people! lol

Thank you ^^ It's not all my credit though... I've been studying *redjuice999 's butts for a year now (this was my most random sentence of today) so even if I actually know how to draw them without copying or tracing, they are made from a lot of redjuice stalking xDD
