That baby is male! You can tell by the bright coloration of the cere.

its a male. and i think its almost fully grown because it almost has a full cap. (white on its face). just sayin' :3

The area where the nostrils are (called "cere") is turning blue.
Females have brown ceres.

Actually both comments are right. The DNA test will give you a 100% accurate answer. The nose, though, is around 80%, but with as much blue as there is I'd say he's a he. He also sees something I think he wants. It's the same look my bird gives when I get a bottle of Dr. Pepper out.

I don't know how they do it, but all I think is needles and I've never had a budgie survive being stuck. I would rather live wth the mystery than live with the truth by being squabless.

The only way you can tell for sure right now what gender it is would be to get a dna test (not joking) and that's 20 dollars a bird...

its a boy, because its cere is blue, and not brown
