No, nothing out of the ordinary. Β You can download nice 'textured' brushes from just about anywhere and get about the same results I did. Β  For this I used a modified hard round (transfer on), a soft custom square brush I made a few years ago and still love it, and some dot like brushes for some of the 'speckled' look on the snow. Β
