big ole' compilation of 'most' of the sketches I've done of Grenner and Dresten recently. Some are shenanigans and shitposts, and some are character development and exploration. If you follow me or support me on Patreon, Instagram or my OC Tumblr blog, you may have seen most of these so they're not a big deal. And a sneaky Kurai/Travis/Barioth sketch for a spacefiller.If you have any questions about any of them lemme know!

Grenner is part of the Vladimirian military as an assault airship pilot. At this point in the story Archs (Dresten is an Arch), are considered enemies of Vladimir and generally have a negative stigma. Dresten is taken as a prisoner of war after being caught trading weapons with nomads (a blanket term for the many people seeking to stake a claim to parts of Vladimir as their own, and also people Vladimir are at active war with.) Grenner getting friendly with Dresten eventually gets out and he's labeled as a traitor.
Dresten leaves over conflicted feelings about Grenners mortality/longevity. Death is seen as taboo(more so those that Archs are close to bonding wise), and being aware that Grenner is subject to that is difficult for Dresten to handle.

I really love the contrast between these two with their communication, it must of taken Dresten time to get used to someone verbally communicating and how confused he might of been when subtle gestures he was used to making weren't caught onto that quickly. My personal favorite from this one is the flight jacket one XD

Have you said how Grenner and Dresten came to be so attached? I think you first posted a comic of Dresten threatening Grenner pretty violently, then posting stuff of them seeming to be in love. I may have missed something though. xD

Yeah, they get off to a rough start, and the two need a little time to get used to one another. I do have about three to five more pages I need to finish up and post to continue on from the previous posts of them having a go. Grenner has gone through some visual and verbal (mostly correctional, thanks to helpful Scots and those who are versed in the Scottish dialect in general-Grenner has a Glaswegian dialect more so than most others, minus some of the lingo.)
I've answered someone about how they get all soft with each other. I don't remember where though haha! In short, Dresten is caught selling Archian weapons to the nomadic people who are encroaching on 'Vladimirian' lands and staking claim to portions of it. Grenner is sent to take him out, but he gets too headstrong and ends up wanting to fight Dresten hand to hand (which is dumb considering Archs have ferals that are like giant cable wires with teeth.) And that's where I start the previous pages. Dresten is taken to the compound Grenner is stationed at as a pow. And even though Dresten tried to shred his face Grenner sticks up for him when some of the compound's inhabitants (mostly military troops and the like), get really nasty with Dresten. And they kinda form a secret bond that grows from there. (:

He actually has a standard military issued 'arrow runner' (similar to military issue pistols, except bullets tend to 'shatter' when hitting a target, splintering into 'arrows')

Grenner and Dresten are two separate Archs, and they aren't in any way related to wolves. (: They're a lot bigger, sapient, and could tear a wolf apart if they wanted.

Yes, they have a feral and a biped form, and can mesh in-between them as they please. Archs have the ability to displace their wings with the help of a code implanted in their heads at birth (or soon after), this allows them to better blend in to different areas when traveling. There are black markets that deal with severed Arch wings and even Archs themselves, and they'd rather not have them about if it puts them at risk of losing them or being caught. If the code is destroyed by severe head trauma/brain damage, or the code being destroyed specifically, an Arch will no longer be able to displace their wings.
