Description Last one I promise, we just had a lot of fun with the lighting and my nice fresh painted wall as a backdrop.

With some much appreciated help from behind the camera.

Like the precedent photo, this is a very sober yet beautiful portrait (and this time there's no spotlight in the eyes! ). I like sober portraits, there's something pure and innocent about them...

And now here's the stupid comment: you really look english. x) I dunno why, there are some english people like Hugh Laurie or Simon Pegg who really look like english people to me. They have a typical "english" face. Same thing about you. But it's not a critism nor a compliment, just a remark. ^^

Sorry to disappoint you about the eyes

Heheh in some respect I understand what you mean some peple just look like they come from a specific country (less obvious than oriental and black etc).

Though I do not see it in myself...

It's okay, I'll see other reflections in other pics. ^^

Well, I dunno: quite fair hair, fair skin, moustache and small beard... For me, that's a typical english person. ^^ Like David Thelis, ya know ([link] ).
By the way, this photo was an extract of the movie "Naked" by Mike leigh, and if you haven't seen this movie you should try it. Not everyone can see this movie because it's quite violent and dificult to understand, but for me, it just shows all the genius of british cinema. End of advertisment. x'DDD

Hehehe And he has my colour beard as well .

HE STOLE MY BEARD!!!..

I guess it does make sense so .

Aww I have so many films to watch and TV series.. :devtesastock: and I are now locked into a promise to watch all of Game Of Thrones as I have not seen it yet..... so much and so little time .

Er, "Naked" was released in 1993, and you say you're 27, so... You were around 7 in 1993. Conclusion: technically YOU stole his beard!!! x'DDDD Unless you already had a beard at 7, which would be quite a "miracle" of nature.

Ah, that's alright... You can just see my personal favourite extract of the movie: [link] I always try to show it to my friends, but they are french and don't understand it. --" And translating it doesn't sound as good.

And this scene is probably the most known because it's just too funny and tragic at the same time: [link] Sometimes I shout "MAGGIIIIIIE!!!" next to my mum just to make her jump, because of that scene! x'DDD It works all the time! But my mum didn't like the movie, too violent for her.

Okay, I'm going to comment on this because every time I try and delete it from my messages, DA says I can't remove images.

I really like this sort of portrait. It has a very honest quality to it. Your expression is a little enigmatic, which makes it interesting. You kind of look like you're attempting to hold back a bit of a smile, but your eyes kind of say "I might be a little pissed off".

Well I hope you can delete it now .

It's is very strange you get those ideas from my expression.

I was going for the most neutral expression possible with the way my face falls.
(anyone who knows me IRL, knows I can be very emotionless in my face and hard to read in conversation, or so I have been told) .

Its always interesting what people pick up from the pictures of other people. People read into expressions (or the attempt of lack thereof) very differently. I've never had trouble with people reading my emotions given my appearance, but I know my voice is very hard to read. I tend to be very deadpan in most conversations.

Apparently attention is all that your picture wanted because now I can remove it <<

See I am the other way around, I become very enthusiastic about what I talk about that it's clear in my voice and face .

But inbetween talking...stone.

And hehe I'm glad you can remove it now.

I have approached friends in doing an entire project like this so... you might get bombarded by a load eventually

People are interesting. Weird how people can have so many different ways of communicating. No wonder things get lost in translation!

I look forward to seeing it!
