Yeah I know... I am excited yet worried. I trust our brilliant creators and yet... I don't want to necessarily see the future kids of some of the pairings they left the show with if you know what I mean. 
I am almost more excited for these books... which is sad because I want them animated! ;.;

Yeah, I am fine with some of the pairings, but I really don't see why all of the ending pairings of the show have to work out that way. I mean people break up and move on all the time. It wouldn't make sense if all three main pairings stay the same... especially with issues like Sokka/Suki. Suki is the leader of the Kyoshi warriors and probably needs to return home to lead them, and Sokka is the future Water Tribe chieftain... obviously he can't just stay on Kyoshi Island. I don't picture him letting Katara take over leadership... and let's say for some completely off reason Suki decides to go with him to the Water Tribe... she would be ill from the extreme weather... it's like how Pocahontas died of consumption when John Smith brought her back to England with him. Don't get me wrong. I really like Sokka, and I really like Suki, but I can't see how this works and I feel Suki can be a little Mary Sue when she is around him. Yue made a lot more sense to me. Sorry if that was too long of an explanation.
I don't really think it does take that long. I think Nickelodeon just doesn't want anything to overshadow Spongebob. >.< I think they've had the eps already made forever and are just making us wait because they are jerks and like I said, want to keep the focus on Spongebob.

It's fine. I am a Katang fan, but not hard core or anything. My fav pairings are much more slashy which I know can never happen in the actual show considering it's a kid's show and society and all that. The Zutara pairing honestly disturbs me a bit because I don't like seeing all the sexual situations a lot of fans like to put her in... She is only 14 at the end of the series after all, but I have a lot of friends into it and can see the appeal. I really just don't want to see Zuko's babies or Sokka's babies... so I can definitely empathize with you... I mean, it is diff pairings that we don't want to see the children off, but ultimately I think it hurts the whole fandom to be real cut and dry with who had what babies with who.
I don't know... but they are still selling merch! Where's my Zuko beach towel, my Sokka toothbrush, and my ATLA bedsheets?! Nickelodeon!!! *shakes fist*

Yeah, I hate the live action movie. I wish they would have used a director who actually cares to do a decent adaptation like Sam Ramie or Peter Jackson.
