My cousin thought for a long time that the words were "listen to the sound of Simon" so she used to rave something along the lines of this:
"Listen to the sound of Simon? What about Garfunkle?! He's left out! Ugh, Simon is an egotistical bastard!!"
XD it was quite hilarious when her mom explained that it was "silence" instead of "Simon".
