Month of Flowers, 8290_____
In the wake of the disastrous peace talks, Bracken's death becomes a fact. Back home in Iadlain, away from the chaos of Song-Lu, Cassair finally observes this fact, among others.
And with that, he's basically done. Done with liking anyone that much. It won't happen again. u__u
(I will have Javed's ref redone eventually but for now I guess he can be an NPC mystery haha)

So... in my story, Lucy loved three people: Xanthe, Xironn and El, all of whom at some point left him. El (father) and Xironn (boyfriend) died and Xanthe (guardian) was a pale copy of Xironn who was left after the death, and Lucy had to face that death and the reality of it for about five thousand years until Xironn was able to be resurrected in full, and Lucy was able to trust himself enough to love a mortal being again (Lucy himself never ages and never dies, even by weapons or war, unless it's a very special kind of blade made from Heaven or Hell Steel).Β
This could almost be a scene from his past, except instead of the first guy it would be El/ias, and the second one would be Xironn.Β
