Retro entry for the Midnight Symphony prompt! This marked almost one year since Gauchier had been living in Koben. In many ways they were still a newcomer to the city, but over the past year it had also become a home - for more reasons than only time. Experiencing the Mirian military from the opposing side during Firefall had left Gauchier with very mixed thoughts about their national loyalties, but at least the heart is straightforward when the mind isn't. It was right to pay tribute to those lost in the violence, it was good to enjoy the music of the orchestra, and it was perfect to spend this spring day and night with Shiloh.
