Description
Incandescence looked around between her father's legs. She saw the numerous dragons that were flying and walking around them, in the brown and gray land of ash and rocks. Very different from the buildings, gold, and glam of Canterlot.

She then looked up the large albino dragon she was under, her father, as he was busy talking to a large purple dragon across his way. She was accompanying him as he visited the Dragon Lands to catch up with his family and old friends.

As she heard a large roar from a dragon in the background, she slowly backed away underneath her father further, until she bumped into something. She jumped to find behind her a small purple draglet with long ears and small horns. He smiled, before suddenly belching out a small amount of teal fire.

Incandescence yelped as she ran over to her father's front claw and hugged it tightly. Her father Fizzle, noticed this and looked down in worry to his trembling daughter.

Before he could ask what was wrong, she yelped again as she saw in front of him the draglet return, still smiling with prominent fangs. He ran towards her excitedly, before she ran back under Fizzle, and curled into a ball shaking. The draglet looked at her confused, before he was suddenly picked up by the larger purple dragon by the tail, squealing.

The large purple dragon, Vex, flung the squealing draglet into the air and caught him in his large arms, putting him into a noogie despite his protest.

"So there you are, you little shrimp", he said playfully ads the draglet happily squealed, small teal flames leaving his mouth in the process burning the rocks around them.

Fizzle chuckled at the sight and turned back to his daughter.

"That's V-V-Vex's son, Spurt", Fizzle explained. Incandescence looked out from the leg to Fizzle's face, then looked to the 2 purple dragons.

Spurt was placed on his father's back and looked over at Incandescence from Vex's shoulders.

"She sure is shy", he noted. "Ain't she Pop?"

"Maybe so" Vex chuckled, kneeling down the small female dralicorn who still seemed skeptical and clung to Fizzle. He turned back to Spurt and suggested, "How about you greet her to get her to come out?"

Spurt smiled and climbed down Vex and enthusiastically said to Incandescence,

"HI THERE", along with another spout of flames.

Incandescence only tried to hide further away. Spurt only started to walk closer in confusion.

"I said hello!"

Fizzle looked down to Incandescence and nudged her forward. "Well sw-sw-sweetie, sat hi back."

Incandescence looked nervously and shook her head furiously as she tried to hide further.

Fizzle then moved back and nudged her forward with his snout.

"trust me, he's alr-r-right. Say hello."

Incandescence froze as she was moved towards Spurt who looked at her in anticipation for a response. She looked at Fizzle with pleading eyes, but he didn't give in. She sighed and hid behind her hair as she looked down towards the ground in front of her and quietly murmured,

"Hello."

Spurt shouted excitedly as more fire left his mouth, which made Incandescence freeze up again in fear. Spurt then calmed down, before his smile went away and he examined her suspiciously.

"You don't look like any other dragon I've seen before!"

Incandescence started to get nervous. "I d-d-don't?"

"No! You're much fluffier! And your spikes are a lot longer!"

Incandescence stayed silent as she tried to hide further into her mane. Then she suddenly something press up beside her, only to find Spurt snuggling and feeling her mane and fur.

"I like it!"

Incandescence smiled and felt his scales with her claw.

"And you're much sm-sm-smoother than any pony I've met", she commented. "I like that."

Fizzle smiled before he continued his conversation with Vex.

"So, Spurt", Incandescence asked. "What do you d-d-do here for fun?"

Sort of a remake or continuation of this .

Spurt is a loud boy, by accident and by intention. He has a bad habit of spouting up fire whenever he gets too excited or by accident. Basically he has fire/burp control issues. But Vex says he's getting better.

I based some of it off that scene in Bambi where Bambi first meets Faline.

I mentioned before that I think Fizzle has a stutter, a stutter he also passed down to his daughter.

Spurt is the son of Vex and Belch (what I call the purple girl dragon)

Incandescence is the daughter of Fizzle and Princess Luna.
