They've ,and I've said, to just capture the moment; to live it best I could.
I wish I could go back and prevent all this trouble; my heart knows that I should.
Because that's where the honest man within me lies; my heart.
I just wish I could get back to him again.

Capturing the moment is impossible when my fingers are covered in blood.
Every second passes through my hands like a bullet through the water.
Each minute shoots through me and the water flows from my eyes,
down into the drain.

"I'm only human."
Made the world stop its attack but I'm still beating on myself.
No confession or God's forgiveness will help me to escape this,
and leave this living hell.

I leave this note to myself on the mirror, incase the heavens send me back in time to try at life again:

Don't look for love, for it hides in the darkest corners.
Don't expect life to be fair, there's a reason for martyrs.
Don't think that the world will listen, they don't care for what you know.
Don't worry about your broken heart, life will carry on with the show.
You're surrounded by smoke and mirrors,
a masquerade, a dance.
People wearing their false identities behind their teeth,
life doesn't let you look back.
Run straight for the fire,
burn away this mortal flesh.
Leave behind, with it, your broken heart,
and then death will be yours to accept.
