My OC wolfe. The lineart is really old now, but I needed the reference for her, so I could maybe possibly get some art of her.. Its hard to find anyone who will draw a character with dark skin. :/ I like the coloring job I did on it. The BG not so much.

Really? Im glad. I had trouble deciding for her, and I still find it to be kind of iffy in my mine. I wanted to make her skin even darker but I found I was having trouble finding a balance so I had to settle... Maybe next time I draw her I'll nail it. I really do love rich dark skin, and I wanted at least one character of mine to be really dark.

Wolfe is such a beautiful character that you drew! I adore the sitting pose on her as well as her shiny hair.
The mist and watery effects surrounding her makes this drawing really create!

hey, I couldn't comment this when I first saw it, but I did draw a picture of her for you if you're interested. It's only a sketch, but I really like it, and I'm going to ink and color it. However, I don't do so much CG, but I'm pretty sure it will look really nice regardless.
I love the picture, by the way. the colors go great together. And I know what you mean about drawing dark skin, I love it! It think it adds awesome character. ^^

I dunno. You don't see a lot of anime characters with darker skin, and people are lazy/stuck in a nioche

I've never colored a darker character.. No wait scratch that I think I have.. WAIT YES I HAVE, it doesn't seem much different then a lighter character.
