I love the cadet uniforms!!
I made Spock's a little too baggy though. It should really stretch across those crazy shoulders of his 
I read in some interview that this scene was meant to be much longer which KILLS ME.
Can't remember where I saw that, probably off a link from ontd_startrek. That community is amazing 
Sadly, I really expected to see an extended version on the dvd and was GREATLY disappointed. 
I had a lot of fun with Kirk's hair. I think it would be awesome to run your hand through.

Have you read the novelization of the movie? In it the scene is a great deal longer. If you download the audiobook version of it, it's read by Zachary Quinto...I'm just saying.

If that's true the scene was longer and managed to cut it down into the delicious tidbit we got, that editor(s) need some sort of prize not just for that but the WTF scenes they cut from the movie alltogther.

I admit I kind of miss the baby!Spock scene, but I can see how it wouldn't have moved anything anywhere and since Spock is older than Kirk it wouldn't make sense to open the movie with it or flash back to it after the Narada incident.

I was kinda expecting an extended version of that scene on the DVD too, but I guess the closest you'd get to that is the movie novelization, where they debate back and forth and Spock totally dominates with his superior logical mind

Hell yes! I do have the audio-book and I swear it sometimes sounds like Spock himself is narrating. Plus there's other additional/extended scenes, like Spock's birth and when Kirk meets Spock Prime.
