Taking a stab at Kaoru from Dir en Grey. I tried to take more time on the hair this time. Not sure if there seems to be a difference but I'm happy with it! I love Kaoru's frickin jawline, it was hard to do it justice ahahah

and YES, one of the first things i noticed was how good the hair looked - the fringe man. the fringe and the -feathering-
those lips.
i love the white line above the upper lip, between the actual lip and - that weird nose-lip connector line people have hahaha, what the hell do they call it anyway? - and how the upper lip has no lines... just shading - very inspirational, i'll remember that observation (even back in the bracken portrait i did you were telling me that the lips lines should be lighter - and this just PROVES that to the EXTREME)
(the eyebrows are stunning, like always -i want mine to look like those)
and ... great jaw-lines, i'm still contemplating how to work out my damn cheeks - more chewing haha, yeaaaah XD

i enjoyed doing the lips heheh yes the key is light shading man, unless you want it to intentionally look like lineart or like comic book art with the outlined full lips
thank you ^_^ it was really difficult to just accept what the jawline actually looked like at first, because it's very block like and when i was doing it, i was like this caaaaan't be right!! but it is, he's just a square jawed man haahhah
