The composition and colors make this one my abosolute favourite of your gallery. Simple but very beautiful lighting effects, and the flow brilliantly balanced. And finally I'm very very impressed with how you combined realistic and recognizable faces with the rest of your style.

I disagree with the previous commenter. I think the stylization of the faces is consistent with the detailing in the rest of the picture -- the tiger, for instance, matches quite well.
Really, I love the dynamic composition, and the really creative approach to a portrait. ^^

Thank you. Yeah that comment about the inconsistent faces really came as a surprise for me, because I usually don't do portraits well, but on this one I believe Ive managed to pull it of quite nicely. Than again everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I usually take heed to such criticism , but on that one I really had to disagree.

Realy, I don't agree. I think I managed to incorporate my friends face in my style quite nicely. OK her friend(the lower one) stands out a bit, but not so much that it would pose a problem.

Wow... and I mean WOOOOOOOOOW!!! After spending all day looking at anime pictures, seeing realism in a piece is too much of a art culture shock XD Did you actually do this on the drop of a hat for your friend, or did you ask for money? I would have for how high quality this appears to be... Yeah, yeah, I'm a monster for asking my friends for money, but who doesn't do that? Considering how long this must have taken, I bet you got SOME sort of compensation ^^' Anywho, what I truly loved about this piece was how the Pheonix came out. People often design it after the steriotypical swanish version, but you went witha falcon sort of built...Who says Pheonix's (??? don't know how to pluralize XP) didn't have variations in genus!?

I'm not fully aware of the origin of "the Pheonix", but I know that books came before RPGs, and these fiery birds of rebirth must have been used a plarithera(?) of times in these stories XD (I bet THEY hold the answer

Iam not exactly sure about phoenix, but there are these kind of mythical birds in many of the worlds mythologies, and they are always like a singular majestic being.

Well I doubt you can find it out there, as I said it is a local magazine, and you wouldn't be able to understand anything if you don't speak the language. But they sometimes borrow texts from national geographic.

Its called Zabavnik and its a magazine on science, fun and everything and anything. I find it commendable you want to learn my language but I must warn you it is quite complex. It has slightly less verb forms than Latin, and I remember I really hated having to learn Latin.

Thanks. Well the upper person is my friend, the other girl is her friend which I don't know so well. Lately I find that I get along better with people that are younger than me, since they seam to share the same interests. Stuff like video games, amine and science fiction hasn't been very popular within my generation.
