A tribute to Star-lord (peter quill) pre mcu (as he appeared in Annihilation: Conquest). This was a very mature star-lord, a veteran hero who has made many mistakes and uses the sense of humor in a very intelligent way, something different from the thief with childish complexes of the movie. and his suit is the best suit in the galaxy… There are also many ideas from the original creation of Steve Englehart and Steve Gan that have been forgotten and should come back, like the seriousness of the story and the master of the sun (a character that is fascinating and mysterious to me)

While I certainly have a preference for the more childish MCU version of Star-Lord, I would be lying if I didn't say that I like this more mature comic book version of him too. I actually see all versions of him as completely different characters, each awesome (and flawed) in their own right. I also think they're kind of hard to compare because they are so wildly different, especially in the case of this particular version of Star-Lord and the MCU one.
Anyway, I'm rambling- What I came here to say was that you did a great job on the picture and that I really love how you did the colours. ^^

I know that feeling all too well. I always spot things in my own pictures that I can improve on and then I end up hating my own work. I guess that comes with being an artist. x'D

This still remains my favourite version of Star-Lord/Peter Quill. I miss him greatly. While I love the red trim, the white trim of ANNIHILATION remains my favourite as well. I love the "bright-eyed" look of his mask here.

Yes, it's a pity that he was eliminated by the completely "red" version and thief with Oedipus complexes
