Description
Here's a slew of somewhat-recent painty things that I didn't like enough to submit one by one. They never come out like the image in my head. Not even close 8( Well anyway, I feel better posting them in a collective bunch like this.. If you want to catch my scraps sooner though, they're always updated on my tumblr .P.S. it's freaking daylight savings time and I cannot fall asleep OTL

For the life of me I can't tell what kind of polearm Ryuu's got in that pic of him and... is that Chimera? I think that's Chimera. What are those two...
askdfhdsfkjh, getting distracted. Ryuu's polearm. Part of me is wondering if it's supposed to be a halberd, but another part of me can't help but think it almost looks a bit like a rudder, and given that Ryuu's been looking into creating a flying machine... But I don't see anything else with them up there...
And is that...? I can't tell... if that's a lemniscate on that tab attached to the glaive in the bottom left... or just an indistinct blob that's going to make me lose what little eyesight I have left.

The simpler/rougher ones (like the bottom left) take about an hour and the more complex ones take around 3-4 hours, though sometimes I spend an extra hour nitpicking at things that don't matter while ignoring big obvious rough spots :\

These are gorgeous! Just... the way you use color... Even if the brush strokes are quick and rough, the color gives it so much life! This is the kind of thing I wish I could do.
