I draw this, do the watercolours, and then draw again with a black watercolour pencil over the colours

GAAAH. Why did you draw and Paint that godawful Mary Sue! It's well done, but she doesn't deserve great talent like you to depict her horrible likeness!

Thanks for considering me too good for River (LOL) but, well, you know, I've drawn Rose lots of times, and she's a classical Mary Sue as well...

Ha. No. Rose is better written and Normal. She wasn't born of two humans but miraculously has Timelord DNA so she can regenerate and stick around. She doesn't have an OMGTRAGIC childhood story. She doesn't have the personality of a pit viper. She's not that smart, but she has a lot of heart and willing to go to hell and back for the Doctor. She and the Doctor were great together. Martha and the Doctor were great together. Donna and the Doctor were great together. Amy and the Doctor were great together. Sarah and the Doctor were great together. River Song is a blatant Mary Sue with all the bitchiness of a Bitchiwitch and all the good writing of a sixteen-year-old fanfiction writer.

I absolutely love the colours here, they feel very vivid.

I love your stuff in general though. You have a talent for adorableness and for capturing the essence of the characters that you draw.
