I've seen them before but usually in the middle of a lake, its always very special when you do see one though, one of the most beautiful birds in the world. He is probably looking for fish as they hunt underwater., they dissapear then pop up large distances away.

Yes I am very lucky, these birds and the osprey nest are about 15 miles away so I will probably be spending more time in that area soon
