Thanks very much! It's taken from a nature hide with bird feeders nearby, the squirrels come there for nuts and feel safe enough to sit within 20 feet of you. Some of them will take food from your hand if you are really lucky.

that is neat, to where nature can be in harmony of closeness with out being in harms way, I love to see nature up close like this, is this place a nature site & do you go their often?

There is a really good hide in a large forest nearby, red squirrels are regular visitors there. I spend a lot of my free time out taking pics of nature, very enjoyable!

nice sweet spot to go too, for a sweet get away I love to watch Squirrles, they are so funny & how they fly run with a bounce(so fast), how they flicker their tail, so cute how they stand, the land we live on their is a lot Squirrles, so its almost a every day thing & comedy to see it's funny how they get upset with eachother

Ahhh you are lucky to live next to them, they are wonderful little animals.There are ones with black tails at place I go, they seem to be the trouble makers as chase others up the trees They are amazing climbers.

it's a live nature show with them are the ones with black tails bigger the then other ones or they just act tuff to others Squirrels? I totally agree upon their climbing skills, they can get a good running jump & they are half way up the tree, and climb so fast with easy, they are out of sight in no time and lose track of them, unless they are chirping mad at something I was walking out of the porch area one day and saw a bird dive bombing a Squirrel, not sure what the Squirrel did, but the bird was not happy

Haha yeah animals are very entertaining to watch, I'm sure a lot of their behaviour is very serious to them though. Nature is beautiful but must be a very brutal place to live for a lot of them. The black tailed ones are the same size but seem more mischievous Is it red squirrels you have near you?
