Oh, I see. I don't play World of Warcraft games, but the name Historia is used for many character. That boss who seems to be scary. I don't feel like i can win.

I was not familiar with this character or know a lot about manga art so looked on google. I saw some previews of the video game.
This is really beautifully done.
I know it is a manga styled character because of the eyes, but your work has the most unique style I have ever seen in this form of art and I love it.
Unlike the typical cel - shading that is usually associated in this category of art, your work I feel crosses over into an area of fine art .
It has very blended shading rather than the more sharply defined shadows and shading of cel-shading techniques.
It has a magical quality but retains the quality of realism and still defines the characteristics of a manga Character. Very impressed with this piece

Oh...Thank you for taking time to investigate about this character.
My goal is to draw a Fictional character with realistic style.
Because I don't like anime-style pictures very much.
However, some manga and anime works have wonderful stories and world views. I am fascinated by that point.
Anime-style pictures are generally popular in Japan. So I chose to use dA.
My painting skills and English skills are immature. Nevertheless you liked my work.
This is the first time I've been praised for my work in such technical detail. I'm always trial and error, and that effort paid off.
My picture still has a long way to go. Your words will be a reassuring help for walk that road. I’m full of gratitude.
By the way, I don't know what to post to your group.
So, If you don't mind you make a request like this, it will be easy to understand.

Please don't apologize. I feel your English is not as immature as you may feel it is! I have no problem understanding your replies.
I want you to know that I am not the only one to praise your art. My live off line group also thinks you are a very skilled and talented artist.
I don't think most of the members of this group realize that an out side group of art instructors choose the gold cup awards in this group. A large majority of people on DA don't really
read the journals or notices on the group pages.
DA is so large and international, some really talented artists get overlooked and their work lost in the watch lists of the really big groups. I myself am not a good digital artist. I've done traditional art most of my life.
But I love the digital medium and do mostly graphic design type work like the banners on the group's home pages or some animations.
Please don't think I'm just flattering you. I sincerely believe you are one of the most talented artist's on DA. I also do not care much for the anime style so never really studied it.
I would not classify your work in that category but as a fine art digital portrait painting even if your characters are as you say fictional.
I feel you are definitely on the way to reaching your goals.
Your paintings are so very romantic and I'm sure it touches other viewers hearts as much as it does mine even if they don't happen to make comments on them.
Your trial and error method has definitely paid off but never stop trying to learn more and improve on your style or techniques. I feel art is a life long journey. Every project is a lesson in itself.
You either learn what to do or what not to do. But I'm grateful for that undo button when I do try to do digital art. That's most likely my most used digital tool lol.
