Description
Here is a male dragon that lost his mate during the conceiving of the 2 dragon eggs. But ever since, he has been looking after them and taking on both roles in his family. But one spring day as he gets up to stretch as usual, he hears a cracking sound and it comes from the eggs. He is very joyful that his two love babies will hatch and he can see it.Related content

Such a proud moment that will surely mark his life forever. I love the concept of fatherhood here, and the self-fulfilling smile tugging at the edges of his lips just adds to the already deep emotional pool. The dragon himself complements the picture well in contrast to the background. I, however, find myself puzzled at the stretch of rocks at the top of the picture. Clearly the dragon is standing on the edge of a mighty bluff, so my first assumption on the picture's setting wouldn't fall on a cave.
Just a little nitpick and it doesn't deviate my attention away from the marvels of the scene itself. The only concern I would wish to address is the tail. It begins thick, then thins, then grows thick again, and then thins out on the finish. However, my artistic knowledge is equal to a bag of rocks so I am in no real position to make judgments in that department.

about the little story you give for him. i must say it's beginning is ....pretty sad. but i love the ending
