an ancient of lore teaching some secrets to young night elf druids in ashenvale forest...yeah i'm kinda obsessed with druids
no, actually i'm just interested in their way of life and wanted to depict a scene related to that i guess, haven't seen many of those here anyway.hope you like :3

recently I discovered great interest in druids and night elf (druids), mainly because I'm reading the novel "Stormrage", though my heart "lies with the horde" (to quote chris metzen).
This is an amazing piece of art and you're right, there's not much stuff of that out there. I love it. The atmosphere's great.

wow, fantastic! I love all the detail work and lighting o_o <3 I'm full out horde, but I love druids <3

This is pretty cool, I like the lighting and comp.
There is one thing that I think would really make this piece awesome, and that is throwing a gradient in the upper right half of the piece and play with the layer filters maybe a dark color overlay would work? My eye wants to keep going to the top of the page to those light highlights bouncing off the leaves instead of the focal point. Pushing that down would strengthen the piece (just my 2 cents) imo.

thank you for the critique, i appreciate it very much and i'll try out what you said, it seems like a good idea! i'm not very experienced with painting enviroments and backgrounds so any kind of advice is welcome :3

ah good to know, but i actually meant that it will not be a constant form to switch into from now on, instead, it will be a spell or something to boost your heals for a bit. ah well have to go and get the game i suppose, i find it very hard to resist now xD
