I always wondered if the 'butt buddies' or should I say 'butt birdies' ever became lunch. I always thought the birds could just easily, you know, flap and fly. I mean why else would they take residence on the rear end of an alligator?

A gator can snap as fast as a finger with it's jaws and it's tail... I've never seen a passenger get attacked but I've seen a lot of gators feeding on those birds.
