Description after driving for hours to get to this location..wasnt until the last mile that it started raining
there are three amazing falls in a 3/4 mile distance of Little Mashel Creek, this was the last of the three and by this time it was raining profusely! this one has much potential but conditions gave scare to the equipment, so shots were minimum..but will be revisited once the rain takes a break..so most likely May!!

40 foot Lower Little Mashel Falls

what luck i love the intensity of the green in the area it is simply beautiful and the slow shutter speed adds to that effect as well as the fog from the rain it is just amazing addition to the over all shot i love how it came out it just reminds me of why i love rain.

Despite the conditions you pulled off a fantastic shot Addam! I'm looking forward to the revisit! Have you ever thought about buying a rain cover by chance? I bought the Kata E-702 Large Digital SLR Camera Raincover, it was a bit pricey but it has kept my camera dry under some pretty heavy rains. My only issue with it is that it's tough to maneuver your lens.

thanks Paul! i was looking at something similar to the Kata for a while now..procrastinated on getting it, Paula referred me to the rainsleeve..$6! havent tried it yet but should work for awhile until i get some serious equipment and be more extra weary of harming it. thanks for the recommendation

Your welcome Addam! I'm sure that the rainsleeve would work just fine. If it doesn't or if it tares at least it was only $6 right!?

lol..exactly! plus i try to carry as little as possible when i go out, think the sleeve will be less bulky compared to the jacket.

I bought a two-pack of them and am still using the first one. They were only about $7 at Ritz. It has a little hole that you can fit over your eyepiece so you can see. The string at the end where the lens is pulls tight, but I want to get some velcro and attach it to the lens hood and the plastic because it doesn't stay in place very well. You still have to deal with water on the front of your lens, but the hood helps control that.

Thanks Paula!

This is like what I got: [link]
The $60 ones might be better but they're much more spendy (and probably bulkier in your bag)

I love the misty atmosphere! Great work, Addam. The light and dark areas contrast so nicely, and the water appears to be almost glowing.
