Welp, I'm not exactly a fan of Crash, but this is a nice piece. Gotta' love the sketch-y background - it provides a nice contrast to that not-Crash-girl-that's-prolly-his-sister and... Pura the Tiger? pulling that name off the back of my noggin' BTW those white blurs Iillustrate motion, no? x)
Oh, and speaking of which, I heard that the Remastered Crash is actually a timed exclusive for PS4. There's a chance that it'll get released on other platforms eventually. That's only a rumour, though, so take that with a grain of salt. Really, though, wish it'd get an XBONE release because I'm curious about whether those games actually hold up after all these times. :'D

Thank you! Yes, those white effects are supposed to show motion (or at least to look cool)! x')
The girl is indeed Crash's sister, Coco Bandicoot! Btw, it's said that Pura's name comes from the Indonesian word for "temple"... :'3
Whoa, that's a relieving rumour! TvT But yeah, I'm going to take that grain of salt... Like they say here in Finland: "a pessimist can't be disappointed!" :''DΒ

You're welcome - those white effects adds character to the piece, IMO. I guess that goes along well with the sketch-y background. x)
Correct. Pura means temple in Bahasa, and it's specifically refering to Hindi temples. You could find a lot of them in Bali. Oh, and I used to think that Pura sounds like pura. Guess its name is (possibly) inspired by those temples after all. That's pretty darned flattering for us Indonesians... 8D
And yep, words to live by! Great things do happen when you're not expecting much outta' it, indeed! x'D

Hmm... Now that I think about it, in Crash Team Racing, Pura's titular race track did have temple-looking buildings... so maybe Pura's name really comes from that word. :''3

Whoa, now this was unexpected 8D quite the pleasant surprised to say the least ^^
Coco looks lovely in your style, I really love the cheerful expression ^^ and Pura looks happy as well, he looks so cuddly and fluffy, he definitely needs more love ^^
Simply put, this really made my day, many thanks for drawing this ^^
PS. And keep one thing in mind, CTR is actually superior to all Mario Kart games ;3
And I'm not even saying this as a Crash fan, the game is simply made better than MK. MK is of course, still fun, and those are great games, but when compared to CTR, where Naughty Dog put a lot of hard work and effort, the differences are very visible. MK games are just very, hmmm, "stitched-together" on a technical level (can't find a better word for it in English |D), with many mechanics being "faked". Best example, while in CTR the AI keeps track of everything that happens during a race, even if it's a completely different part than on the screen, stuff still happens, the AI controlled racers still attack eachother and drive properly, and what's most important they have to actually catch up to you and items work normally on them. In MK however, whatever is not on the screen, is sorta RNGd behind you, so if you get hit by an item, there's a high chance of a few racers suddenly teleport to you to overtake your place, plus, if an offscreen enemy gets hit by an item, they only spin in place for a second (even in mid-air) and then continue without losing momentum (you can see that happening on the mini-map if you take a look from time to time).

Thank you! Drawing this picture made me happy, but I'm even happier to learn that it was able to make someone else's day as well.Β Β
It's been years since the last time I played CTR, but now that I've been playing some Mario Kart games on my boyfriend's consoles, yeahhh... It has really felt like that the AI cheats. Good to know that it's a "real" thing and not just me having bad luck while playing. :''D

Like I said, both Coco and Pura look amazing in your style. And looking at it again, Pura kinda looks like a plushie here XD
Plus, Pura needs more love, he's been away from the spotlight for too long, reduced to random cameos... and lets not even speak of his terrible redesign... so seeing him drawn so awesomely is a real daymaker ^^
As for MK and CTR, well, contrary to what many may say, MK is as popular as it is because it was made by Nintendo and it features Mario. It is still very fun, of course, but when compared to some other kart racers, the flaws become all too visible. Mostly, it's because this kind of programming, while faulty, is quicker, and when most fans wont complain because they get a Mario riding a gokart, the developers wont bother to program it properly.
On the flipside, Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed is programmed flawlessly, has the best balance and some really creative stages, but is often overlooked because it doesn't have Mario... that, and the single player mode requires actual skill to complete, you can't just Blue Shell yourself through the game.

Oh, I see! (I used to be a "player two" as a child too - having to often settle for just watching my big brother play unless two people could play the game. :'D)
