I LOVE the composition of this. Whizzer is in a fun, playful, and energetic pose that really brings life to the piece. Plus, I really love the effect the clouds gave to this piece.

Thank you very much! In my head, I saw such an awesome pose for her, and while I'll admit, I didn't nail it (I never do!) I am glad to hear that you like it! Thank you!

"Twinkle eyes are always particularly challenging to draw, I think."
I agree! It's hard to make it look like a crystal, and yet still have emotion. It's a fine line between cute and creepy with twinkle eyes!
I don't know how to work with paths, all my inking is freehand - Paths might make my life easier, but first, I'd have to learn them. xD

Wow! But your lines are so smooth, how do you manage that freehand? I find that I HAVE to use the pen tool or else my lines are totally wobbly and wonky, but then they're all the same thickness and totally bland.

Not sure, but I can only do it in OpenCanvas, probably because I can rotate the canvas very easily and to any angle! It really helps to make straight lines in inking!

OpenCanvas? I'll have to look into that one. Thanks!

OpenCanvas rules, and is relatively cheap! I'm afraid I'll always need Photoshop for coloring, which is a shame, but for inking, it's all about OC!

I think you did a very good job drawing her, it looks like her (going by the show) and I think you captured her brilliantly.
Also, was there anyone out there who understood a word she said?

x3 Well, if the lines were that thick and too dark, it started to look bad, but I think they look OK when they're a lighter brown color like they are now. x3
