Description
These books were bound for my boyfriend's parents. The red and orange one is for the mother. The white and green one is for the father. In a way, they're very ying-and-yang, with opposing colors and personalities. Both books are made of 114 tightly stitched sulphite drawing paper pages. The covers are made of chipboard.

The mother's a bit wider than the green one because I cut the base paper for the cover in half and added a strip of black to act as a spine which can be labeled. The front is decorated with adhesive pearls.

The father's is decorated in Alpha markers and gold Sharpie for a metallic sheen when held up to the light. He does gardening but somehow, he told me that he doesn't like doing it despite that he does it every weekend when the community garden is open.

Not shown is the giftbag that I made to hold those in.
