Aw, now you make me tempted to submit my waterfall speed painting thing I did a while ago. I like the warm, yet serene color scheme to also portray such at atmosphere from this landscape picture. A very different approach and contrast to the aforementioned one I did. The composition of the close up is well done.
However, the significant height contrast between the left side of the cliff's edge to the waterfall, even with the trees filling in the space does bug me a little. Maybe it's just me, but I would have wanted to see more of an indent of the within the gaps of the trees/plants there. That or for the curve of the top left of the waterfall to have been adjusted to curve more along the cliff side to better indicate the height difference. I would probably say more of the latter than the former.
Otherwise, I still really love the waterfall and how easy it is to distinguish between the water and the cliff in spite of the similar "textures."

Ah, there's more rock behind the trees. It's a slope, you see. I should've made it a bit less green there to distinguish. Thanks for pointing that out.
