aww oh man that's actually really cute! and it sounds pretty canon too xD it explains why the grunt is standing so close to the house with the meowth maybe he's training to become a pokemon breeder and asked Nanu if he could help take care of his meowths as a means of learning how to take care of Pokemon properly ;v; akzndlcpqtr too cute!

ahaha omg a crazy cat trainer!! I wish that was totally a thing because that'll be perfect for me xD
I was a bit disappointed it wasn't the grunt's house but just imagining Nanu taking care of all the meowths is just too adorable! I can imagine him being the type to let the meowths just climb all over him aaa

much thank! ;v; It took me so many tries to get the hand right I was just screaming internally by the time i finally managed to make it look presentable xD
YESS omg i was so happy when i thought the grunt was the one owning all the meowths? like that was just so cute!!! imagine him taking the time to feed all his meowths every day, in addition to doing all his grunt work. and he'll buy pokebeans with whatever extra cash he can scrap together for his meowths!!! Maybe when he's out doing his work he'll stumble across strays and take them in? aaaaaaaa

omg if they did introduce a grunt like that in the anime, i would start watching it, no questions asked xD I haven't watched pokemon consistently since johto   
BUT EVEN IF THEY DONT...... this idea is making me want to make an OC of a Team Skull grunt who loves meowths and has an entire house full of them...and the reason he joined Team Skull was for more opportunities to travel across alola to adopt stray meowths because he sucks as a trainer and has no way of travelling by himself..... AAAAAAA IDEAS MAYBE HIS ENTIRE PARTY OF 6 POKEMON ARE ALL ALOLAN PERSIANS HAHAHA

awWHH THEY WOULD BE THE MOST PRECIOUS GRUNT EVER CHUBJHCC I'd love to see that! Awh and I think that's so cute how he'd travel around just to adopt stray meowths, and I bet each Meowth would have it's own story and personality too!
XDXD he probably wouldn't do too well against some types of pokemon with a full team of Meowths, but he can try?? XD

SAME! I get disinterested after a while if the anime is way too long but i heard XY was good? and the new art style for SM looks so cool and fun! Plus i've been seeing a few interesting things about mimikyu so there's that xD Maybe i'll give it a try if i have time XD

AAAAAA YOU KNOW I MIGHT REALLY CREATE A TEAM SKULL GRUNT OC!!! I've been thinking about this idea so hard xD He'd have a whole ton of Meowths but he'll rememeber all their nicknames and all their favourite foods and least favourite foods. And in the very rare instances that he does forget, he'll consult a very very thick notebook he has where he's written down all their names and personalities and types and what they're allergic too etc. and in those pages he'll also be very sure to note down where he found that particular Meowth and a little journal entry alongside their names to remind him of how they met AAAAA and and and maybe he's not exactly the nicest person? Like he'll still be very Team Skull-y and he steals pokemon to make a living and does other not so good deeds but sometimes it wears him out a lot and during the colder nights when he's feeling particularly depressed about life, he'll consult his books and the memories they hold and it gives him a sense of purpose and life again? because maybe his dream is to set up a pokemon sanctuary just for meowths? IDK AAAAAAAA

I'M A BIT TOO INVESTED IN THIS CHARACTER OMG I think i've come up with a back story of him too!! AAAA I REALLY WANNA TELL YOU BUT IF I'M RAMBLING PLEASE JUST IGNORE THE REST HAHAHAHAA 
so so so i was thinking maybe this Grunt (lets just call him that cuz he as no name yet) was born and raised in Palette Town, in Kanto. Grunt was never very good at battling because he could never understand the rules for battling. Like he'd fill his team up with his favourite mons and couldn't get why his team of 6 rattata couldn't beat a wild pidgeotto. But despite his poor battling skills, he always treated his pokemon with very great care. Unfortunately for Grunt, he was born to parents who were very big fans of Red and Blue and they were pretty harsh on poor Grunt because they wanted their son to be one of the Champions of Kanto but he couldn't even get past route 1. They always released all his rattatas when he was sleeping and tried to get force him to get starter mons from Professor Oak. But Grunt didn't like the starters, didn't want to use them, and couldn't see why he wasn't able to go on an adventure with his favourite rattatas.
The last straw for Grunt came when he finally won his first victory with a Meowth he caught and secretly trained without his parents knowing. When he came home to tell his parents about his first victory, rather than be happy for him, they admonished him (again) for catching 'useless' pokemon and not being up to the standards of great trainers like Red and Blue. Knowing that they were just gonna release his precious Meowth when he was sleeping, that night he packed his bags and ran away from home.
Not knowing where to go, he used whatever money he could scrap (by stealing things and fighting low-level caterpie with payday for weeks and weeks) and took the boat to Alola. Unfortunately for Grunt, along the journey to Alola, he and Meowth got separated and he  couldn't find his Meowth again. In the hopes of finding his Meowth somewhere in Alola, Grunt joined Team Skull, got some money together to build himself a decent house and began setting out to travel the islands to find his Meowth while picking up strays along the way. (and interesting enough, alolan persian evolves via friendship rather than levelling up so he has a whole team of them now)

BONUS:
i do want to include a small segment (segment of what *LAUGHS*) of him wanting to steal the protag's Meowth because it reminded him of his own best friend but he got caught by the protag and had his entire team of Persians beaten. I haven't thought much about how he would react tho... Maybe he would be angry and work towards revenge against the protag for being so perfect in battle and reminding him of the tough times back home. but after a bit of stalking and constant demands for rematches, he found out that the protag's entire team is made up of their favourite pokemon and he grudgingly gave her his respect.... and later in the future he'll start coming to her for advice on how to battle with all his persians (but also mostly to play with her Meowth)
OR
The loss reminds him of all the times he lost back in Kanto and the fact that he was beaten by someone from Kanto destroyed him so badly he fell into a super depressed state. But after finding out the reason behind his act to steal her Meowth, the protag sets out to find him to apologize and offer him to come visit to play with her Meowth. The offer sends him into a crying fit and the two become pretty close friends. The protag vows to help him look for her Meowth during her own travels and he comes by occassionally to offer advice on the ways of Alola....

OMG That journal is such a cute idea! It'd be so relaxing reading over all the things he wrote, and maybe he'd sit down with all his meowths to read it too?? I cant imagine having that many cats, it'd be so cozy!!

I KNOW RIGHT! I played SM without seeing most of the trailers and stuff so when i saw alolan persian in the game i was just like....oh.
But then i saw alolan diglett and dugtrio and cried from laughter

and yes!!! Alolan ninetales is my favourite of the new mons they introduced in alola! but i really love all alolan mons ^^
