This horse is so beautiful.

Second place gets green ribbons in Denmark? That's so cool! In Canada green is for 5th place, and blue is for 2nd. And I know in the states that 2nd place is red ribbons.

Second and third place can get green ribbons (: But it varies much, it depends on which event it is ^^ I once got a Red and blue one, it's normally a ribbon given four fourth places, I was told - but I got first place. Everybody got the exact same ribbon as me ^^ lol.

Lol, that's funny. Do your ribbons say what place they are, so you can tell them apart that way?

No, the don't the even the ribbon colors can be different ^^ And there's no place number on the ribbons either..

Wow, really? I like knowing what place I got, so when I look at my ribbons it;s easier to remember the day. Ours also have the show name on the ribbon, and some even have the year, so it's easy to remember when and how you won it.

Yeah, I would really want that too! When I look a the ribbon I got, it says the riding school's name and the firm that made the ribbon, lol. No more information, such a shame, it would be really nice with a year mark or just the title of the event (:

Do yours have a place to write on them on the back? Ours usually have a paper part on the back where we can write something, like the horse we won the ribbon with or something. If you have that, you could write the show name and place on that, it's better than nothing.

Yeah, we actually have that on our ribbons! I think I wrote something on the back of mine, but I'm not sure ^^

But that is better than noting (:

Definitely. I used to write the horse's name on that part, back when I took lessons and was riding a bunch of different horses. But now I don't bother with it. I hang the ribbons above the stall of the horse I won it with. I know one girl who cpmpetes in western games, she writes her time for each event on that part. That way, she can look back over the years and see how she's improved.

I only attended one competition ^^ So it's no problem for me remembering - But the girl you know, that's a really good way to remember, and to see how she have improved.
