(Pronounced Sheek)

Shiik's body mostly consists of greens, only differing in the form of smaller patterns- his scales are cool to the touch, almost like a slick blade of grass. Sun-bathing daily promotes fast healing, making scars disappear from sight in the matter of weeks and sometimes even days. Compared to other Serperior, Shiik is pretty chunky: being overweight slows him down, but makes him better at taking hits.

Shiik grew up in a tropical jungle town that settled within the canopy of their dense forest. His family has lived there for generations, and owns a popular restaurant in town.

Shiik became close friends with three other Pokemon from a neighboring town: Ashe the Vulpix, Rini the Pikachu, and Cliff the Krokorok. The four of them spent most of their time poking their noses into unexplored caves and local ruins.

A couple years and a boss fight later, the team obtained a mass amount of treasure from one of their chance adventures. Said treasure couldn't be cashed in locally because of morality issues- two of the team members ended up trading the wealth with pirates, gaining the currency they needed and a way out of there, leaving the other two behind.

Shiik's parents encouraged him to leave his hometown, funding his voyages to new towns and cities across the region. He stayed in countless different places, and traveled the world for years. One family he grew found of was a trio of tailors. A young Buneary he had grown close to, Hansel, was seen as a little brother to Shiik.

Shiik came across Exploration Effort while searching for a means to make coin. It had been years since he first left home, and his parents coin was quickly dwindling.
