Description
This is Nótt Squad, one of the platoons within the 31st Highlander Corps.
It is led by sergeant Hödr and corporal Njord.
I named Hödr after one of the sons of Odin. The blind god and twin brother of Baldr, the most beautiful god of all. Marking the beginning of Ragnarok, Loki tricked Hödr into shooting his own brother dead, using the poison from mistletoe to kill Baldr. This is why he has the bullets on his shoulderplate.
Njord, the corporal, is named after the Norse god of the sea, travelers and trade. Which is also why I gave him a backpack.
The squad is named Nótt meaning night in ancient norse. Although Hödr wasn't the god of the night but instead the god of darkness and winter, I thought it had a nice ring to it.
