The scholar and art critic Hans Jenssen commented, regarding a work by Mondrian that he had the opportunity to contemplate:

"The work was the 1923 Painting, and it was hung in a lavishly furnished dining room in Turin, a room crammed with carpets, sideboards and antique cabinets and heavy curtains. On its own, the
painting completely transformed the environment in a humble but determined way; I dominated it, transformed it into a kind of space that I had never seen. Until then. It looked like an art installation: a
Intervention designed to have a real impact on perception of space."

  The search for universal beauty is part of Mondrian's aesthetic conception. This search, in the creative process, was reduced to minimal elements of composition: primary colors, lines and figures, but whose organization generates a perfectly inevitable visual impact.

  This collection is a humble tribute to Mondrian's work and aesthetic vision. But at the same time, my first attempt at creating abstract portraits, in which a muscle or a beautiful face is not determinant of beauty. It is also an attempt to bring Mondrian's vision into the future (and into the body). I hope you like it.
