This is my personal take on the Delta7 Aethersprite, my favorite ship in all of Star Wars.
It basically combines my favorite design features from all the variants and references I could find of the ship and all the realistic improvements I could think of if I were to get one for Christmas and fly it in the real world.
She's not quite ready yet. I'm currentlyΒ creating all the canon paint schemes plus a few custom ones for a nice complete pack.
I insisted on practical features such as:
- A functional landing gear that fits inside the fuselage without cheating and clipping the engines
- A more down to earth detailed cockpit with cold-war era inspired flight controls
- A comfy leather seat for those long journeys in space.
- Better interfaces with accurate Aurek-Besh fonts that don't read out as giberish
- A hinged cockpit canopy that opens in a logical way
