A little Sera dollie I made for Aaron A. ^^ Gave her to him at ComicCon!I handed her first to Chris Reilly 'cause Aaron was talking to my friends, and he looks over and says, "Why does HE get to hold her before ME?"
Hee.
Pants are made of electric tape, and the stripes on that jacket took for bloody ever to sew together. @_@
But the buttons were fun. ^^

The hair is this weird 'eyelash yarn' [link] that makes the hair look all...frazzled...it's awesome stuff.

I got them at the local discount store. $3.00, bish! I've had three different pairs of the same style over the years...the last ones I had were nice; real leather.

I realize it. I, too, was going to make a Sera doll, but I got hung up on figuring out how to manufacture the goggles before I could make it.

I really don't know how to price these...have you ever made a doll? It's hard for me to describe the kind of work that goes into it, so it's hard for me to price it.
Actually, the hardest part is the hair, and the clothes.
As for Dee, I don't know if I can make the doll look like exactly like him (he does have quite the prominent nose, you know) but I can give the dolly a haircut like his, and dress it in clothses like his.

I'd have to get my friend to make me clothing patterns (Sera's clothes were basically done by guesswork. XD)
And the little black bob (I think that's what it's called...) is my favourite of his different hairs. ^^ Though, I could do the one where he's got stuff in the bob...those...white things...
Tell you the truth, I really don't know how much to charge. Pullip Dolls cost $60-80, whereas Little Apple Dolls cost $30, but neither of those are plushies, and they're both made with machines. So.
I dunno.
How much would you say they're worth? I don't want to over price, but I don't want to underprice either.

Do you mind if his hair ends up being kind of...nappy? XD The stuff I use for hair is this eyelash yarn that gives a very frazzled effect. It's quite evident on both dollies. ^-

It took many, many water bottle caps, and hours at the gas stove top in my kitchen to get them just right; I ended up holding the bottle caps (goggle...lenses...) in a pair of tongs, and crushing them, as the fire softened the plastic. then I painted the edges black, and made the strap with electric tape! Much folding of electric tape...XD
