It's finally done!I finished Vincent about 2 weeks ago, but I felt that it needed a background. The original idea was going to be the interior of the Shinra manor, but I couldn't find a pic. I thought a dead forest would go great with this.
I darkened it on PS, but thats about it.
Time: Not quite sure
medium: 9b,2b, and mechanical pencils. Blending stumps also.

Note: I shaded the background to make it look more realistic after I put it up, so I might re-submit it.

To do the trees, just start with one big trunk and split it in two at the top: then split that in two, and that in two, and that in two, and....you get the idea.

Yeah. Only thing is, when I do that, I don't know how to make the split look like brnaches/trucks/etc. It just ends up looking like a giant square wit a triangle ripped out of it's middle.
