you really captured a soft look with this drawing and the transparent scarf is absolutely lovely e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

now some tips...

~the proportions are a bit off, especially in the face. the head should be a bit smaller to match the petite build of the rest of the body, and the eyes slightly too high on the head. it looks like the eyes are at the top of the forehead rather than in the middle of the face where they're supposed to be

~the background seems rather dull and a tad boring. trust me , I know backgrounds are a pain in the neck, ESPECIALLY traditional work!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="XD"/> however, I think if you added some swirls or something similar to the scarf that's wrapped around the girl, the picture will come together and impact the viewer at a higher professional level

all in all, great picture!!

I like the soft, watercolored look that you achieve in a lot of your colored art! That softness, and the organic texture it creates always appeals to me. And I think you pull it off really well!

Again, I love the hair. It's in motion, fluttering to the side, and I like how the lines of the different strands communicate that motion and movement, and how the lighting and coloring reinforces it, further getting that sense of motion across.

The coloring throughout it is great. I like how the different textures and fabrics of her outfit look and feel different -- her shorts are different from her shirt, her boots are a different texture, and of course the light fabric of the light blue ribbon-thingy she's wrapped up in. All of those different textures add a sense of realism to the pic.

Her pose and expression are good -- they do well in letting her show off that she's cute, and there's a playful, if reserved, mood and energy coming through. Your art is really great, though I think I'd like if the pose and expression here were a little more..."loud." A little more exaggerated, to bring the energy up a little more. I struggle with that a LOT, and I think your art has a lot to offer overall, but if I had to critique something, that would be it.

But this is really cute, and I think your art in general as I go through your gallery is really cute. I love your way with color, and I love the energy and flow and softness that you draw hair with, no matter what style its in. Your art has a cute personality to it, and I think it's cool. : )

Aw thank you very much! ;w;
I definitely love watercolors the best out of everything I work with...
so maybe all of my coloring is influenced by the watercolor look/feel

I'm glad you like it, and my gallery too C:
